New Braunfels Volunteers in Medicine operates a medical and dental clinic forty hours per week providing free services to low-income, uninsured residents of Comal County. The clinic seeks to understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved by providing quality, compassionate and personalized care in a faith-based, caring environment.

A full-time nurse practitioner and medical assistant serve patients during regular business hours, and physicians volunteer their services to extend the number of patients served.
